Shipping and Returns

At The Color Collab Boutique, we want your order to arrive quickly and beautifully packaged. Here’s everything you need to know about our shipping process:

Processing Time

Orders are processed within 5-7 business days of purchase. You’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information as soon as your order ships.

During high-volume periods (such as holidays or sales), processing may take a little longer — but we promise it’s worth the wait.

Shipping Options

We currently offer U.S. shipping only.

  • Standard Shipping: 3–7 business days once processed (depending on your location)
  • Express Shipping: Available upon request via email - hello@thecolorcollab.com

Shipping rates are a flat $7 fee. If your order is over $100+ (excluding tax and after discounts are applied) your shipping is FREE.

Free Local Pickup

Local to Lincoln, Nebraska? Choose Free Local Pickup at checkout.

You’ll receive an email once your order is ready — typically within 1–2 business days. Orders can be picked up at:

Lost, Delayed, or Stolen Packages

Once your order is shipped, The Color Collab Boutique is not responsible for lost, stolen, or delayed packages caused by the carrier.

If your package is marked as delivered but hasn’t arrived, please contact your local post office or carrier directly with your tracking number.

Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged, contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@thecolorcollab.com.

Please include your order number and photos of the damaged item so we can make it right quickly.

Holiday Shipping Dates 2025

To make sure your gifts arrive in time for Christmas, please review the USPS-recommended shipping deadlines below.

We’ll always do our best to process your orders quickly, but we recommend placing holiday orders early for peace of mind!

Continental U.S. (Lower 48 States)

  • Ground Advantage & First-Class Mail: Ship by December 17
  • Priority Mail: Ship by December 18
  • Priority Mail Express: Ship by December 20

Alaska, Hawaii & U.S. Territories

  • Ground Advantage: Ship by December 16
  • First-Class Mail: Ship by December 17
  • Priority Mail: Ship by December 18
  • Priority Mail Express: Ship by December 20

The Color Collab Boutique Order Tips

  • Orders are processed within 5-7 business days before shipping.
  • Please place all online orders by December 15th to allow processing and shipping.
  • Local pickup orders in Lincoln, Nebraska, can be placed through December 20th during regular business hours.

Helpful Tip

Shipping carriers often experience delays during December. Ordering early ensures your packages arrive beautifully wrapped and on time!

Making a return

We want you to love what you ordered. If something isn’t quite right, we make returns simple and straightforward.

Eligibility for Returns

  • Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase or delivery.
  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with tags attached.
  • Returns are issued for store credit only.
  • A proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) is required.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Sale and clearance items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • Jewelry, hair accessories, bodysuits, makeup and personal beauty items are non-returnable for hygiene reasons.
  • Items purchased from third-party retailers cannot be returned to The Color Collab.

How to Start a Return

  1. Email hello@thecolorcollab.com with your order number and the items you’d like to return.
  2. We’ll acknowledge your email and approve or decline the return.
  3. Once your return is approved, you’ll receive a store credit code via email.

Store credit can be used both in-store and online at thecolorcollab.com.

Return Shipping

We recommend using a trackable shipping method to ensure safe delivery.

Exchanges

Due to limited quantities, we cannot offer direct exchanges. Please return your item for store credit and place a new order for the desired size or color.
